Day 1 

Arrival In Delhi-

  • Upon your arrival in Delhi, our representative will be present to greet you and facilitate your transfer to the pre-booked hotel in Delhi. After checking in at the hotel, the rest of the day is a leisure day, followed by an overnight stay in your hotel.

Day 2

Exploring Delhi

  • In the afternoon enjoy sightseeing in Old Delhi including an exhilarating cycle rickshaw ride to the Jama Masjid through the bustling Chandni Chowk market. After that, we will continue onto the Raj Ghat- Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation site, before returning to the hotel. An overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 3

Exploring Delhi

  • After morning breakfast, we will visit Delhi’s Gurdwaras—Gurdwara Bangla Sahib near Connaught Place and Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk. You can also explore the market for shopping.
  • In the evening,  we have planned an excursion to Qutub Minar and the unique Lotus Temple. The white marble structure symbolizes unity among Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Islam, surrounded by blooming petals and illuminated water pools.

Day 4

Head To Lucknow

  • In the morning, we will arrange for your transfer to New Delhi railway station, where you will board the train for Lucknow. Upon your arrival in Lucknow, our representative will be there to assist you with the hotel check-in process. Later in the afternoon, take a stroll through the historic markets of Lucknow. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Lucknow.

Day 5

Explore Lucknow

  • Following breakfast in the morning, we will explore significant sites such as the Residency complex, renowned for the historic siege of 1857, as well as Dilkusha Gardens and La Martiniere. In the afternoon, our itinerary includes a visit to the monuments associated with the Avadh Nawabs, encompassing the Imambaras and Romi Darwaja. Take the opportunity to wander through Lucknow’s vibrant bazaars. Ending the day by returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6

To Sravasti

  • In the early morning, we will start a drive to Sravasti, with an approximate travel time of  5 hours. Upon reaching, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, our exploration of Sravasti begins a place where Lord Buddha spent a significant part of his monastic life and delivered teachings post-enlightenment. Highlights include a visit to the Ananda Bodhi tree, where Lord Buddha meditated for a night, and Jetavan, where he performed miraculous feats. The day concludes with an overnight stay at the hotel in Sravasti.

Day 7

Head To Lumbini

  • In the morning, we will drive to Lumbini (approximately 5 hours of driving time). Check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure followed by a night stay in the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 8

Lumbini

  • Following morning breakfast, we’ll explore the birthplace of Lord Buddha, Lumbini. Highlights include Lumbini Park with the Ashok Pillar marking the Buddha’s birthplace, Mayadevi Temple featuring a stone depiction of Buddha’s birth, and the serene China Temple with its pagoda-style architecture and meditation cells. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 9

Head To Kushinagar

  • In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Kushinagar (approximately 4 hrs driving time). Check-in at the hotel in Kushinagar. In the afternoon leave by private car for sight-seeing of Kushinagar, one of the major Buddhist pilgrimage destinations where Lord Buddha attained Parinirvana or final Nirvana. Also, visit ancient stupas and modern temples, commemorating the Buddha’s death and cremation. Visit the spectacular reclining Buddha Statue. Enjoy a night stay at the hotel in Kushinagar.

Day 10

Head To Patna Via Vaishali

  • Following morning breakfast, we will drive to Patna, making a stop at Vaishali along the way (approximately 7 hrs of driving time). Vaishali holds significance as the site where Lord Buddha delivered his last sermon. Excavations in Vaishali have revealed Buddha stupas 1 and 2 (14th century B.C.), constructed in brick and containing a casket with a portion of Buddha’s ashes. Additionally, we will explore the Ashok Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashok to commemorate the location of the final sermon. Upon reaching Patna, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11

To Bodhgaya Via Nalanda And Rajgir

  • After breakfast in the morning, we will drive to Bodhgaya. En-route, we will visit Nalanda (approximately 90 kms) founded in the 5th century B.C. We will also visit an archaeological museum houses the Nalanda University seal, sculptures and other remains found on the site. Later take a 20 kms drive to Rajgir. Further, we will visit Griddhkuta “Hill of Vultures”, where Buddha delivered some of his most famous sermons. Thereafter, we will visit Saptparni caves where first Buddha Council was held which is also the source of Rajgir’s hot springs.

Day 12

Bodhgaya

  • After enjoying breakfast in the morning, our itinerary takes us to the Mahabodhi Temple, adorned with tall stone lotuses, depictions of Buddha in various postures on the walls, imprints of his footprints on the stones, and a majestic golden Buddha in the sanctum sanctorum. Within the temple premises stands the Bodhi Tree, beneath which Buddha attained enlightenment. Optionally, you may choose to sit and meditate under the serene presence of the Bodhi Tree. Subsequently, return to the hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 13

Head To Varanasi

  • After early breakfast in the morning, we will transfer you to the railway station for your train journey to Varanasi. On arriving at Varanasi, meet our representative who will transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Attend the evening Aarti at Sasumed Ghat on the banks of the river Ganges. Enjoy a night stay at the hotel in Varanasi.

Day 14

Varanasi

  • We will leave for an early morning boat ride at the Ganges River. As the dawn mists rise on the Holy River Ganges, glide silently on a boat to see the devout come to bathe and pray. Later in the early afternoon, we will drive to Sarnath where the Lord Buddha preached his first discourse, and to see the Stupas, ancient and modern Temples and Ashoka’s Pillar. Lord Buddha came to Sarnath after gaining enlightenment under the sacred Bodhi tree.

Day 15

Delhi

  • The morning provides leisure and relaxation time. In the early afternoon, we will arrange your transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, our representative will be there to greet you and facilitate your transfer to the pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 16

International Departure

  • In the morning, we will transfer you to the international airport to board the flight to your home country.
